OLSH’s annual winter art show and Christmas concert took place on December 11th, 2019.

Attendees were treated to an array of art on display in the Hall of Community, Social Commons, and cafeteria. The sculptures, illustrations, and other masterpieces were tangible representations of the art students’ hard work.

The Christmas concert, which took place in the auditorium, showcased a number of students’ musical talents. Music teacher and choir director Rusty Pontiere says that he is proud of his students’ progress: “All of the ensembles improved, but the joy is seeing individual students gain confidence in performing. Students that said that they would never want a solo, or never want to perform in a musical, are some of the most successful and talented students that we have!”

Special thanks to music teacher Mr. Rusty Ponitere and art teacher Mrs. Emily Sgrignoli for all of their hard work and dedication to our OLSH family. The next art and music showcase is set for May 14, 2020.
