The cast of Oklahoma! has been working many hours after school to get this year’s Spring Musical up and running.  Practicing dances like the grand square with fun kicks, everyone is getting lots of exercise! They have gotten two scenes with the whole cast almost finished and blocked. The cast has also been singing songs with 7 different parts in harmony! The song “The Farmer and the Cowboy” is a real fun and fast paced song with lots of bounce! So many kids signed up for the musical that the stage is being extended to fit all of the cast and props!!

OLSH Theater has also bought back the Lock-in for Spring Musical. The Lock-in has traditionally been held for the spring show and had kids stay overnight after rehearsal. They would practice and have fun, helping the whole crew bond and make great friends. This year’s cast had their Lock-in at the end of January, and enjoyed their time together rehearsing, having a group dinner, and watching a movie before getting some sleep. 

Oklahoma show dates and times are as follows:

March 1, 2, 8, & 9 – 7:30 pm

March 3 & 9 – 2:00 pm

The cast will also be performing for the grade schools during the school day yet again this year.
