Swimming season has begun! This year six OLSH students participate on the team that is partnered
with Cornell. Swimmers compete in meets all through the winter season with home meets at Cornell and competitions at other schools across the Pittsburgh area.

The swim team hopes to live up to the success of last season in which two OLSH students went to states with the relay team. The swimmers traveled to Florida for training where they improved their times and bonded as a team.  When asked what her favorite part about swimming was, junior Madeline Ciarallo replied saying, “Spending time with teammates is the best because it doesn’t matter what grade or social circle you are in because everyone on the swim team is friends.”
