Progress for OLSH’s own Fall Festival is coming along fast.
Starting all the way back in late September, the OLSH theater department has been putting together its latest fall season show. This year, there will be two one act plays for people to come see. The first being “15 reasons not to do a play” and the second, “We are the Sea”. Both shows are student directed.
In between each show, there will be halloween themed monologues and poems being read for the public to hear. Another feature of this Fall Festival is that the students will allegedly be singing “This is Halloween” from Nightmare Before Christmas and “Double Double, Toil and Trouble” from Harry Potter.
With the shows being only a week away, the theater students are getting ready for tech week. During tech week, the students put in long hours for one whole week to finalize the shows for opening night. Their hours for practice in one day last from three in the afternoon to eight o’clock at night,
In the end, only time will tell what comes about the Fall Festival and how the students perform.
Instead of wishing the cast “good luck” for opening night, let the OLSH community wish them to “break a leg” for this Fall Festival.
