The OLSH boys basketball team will return  to the Peterson center Saturday March 5th 2022 to compete for their 4th straight WPIAL title.

The Chargers have had an undeniably great season with not only remaining undefeated but also breaking the wpial record in most consecutive games won.

Senior center Dawson Summers say’s “I’m not surprised with the results of this season.”  It really is no shock considering they’ve had the majority of their talent return and have managed to add more.

And this streak does not seem like it’s ending soon. With a 77-42 win over Greensburg Central Catholic Tuesday night boys are headed back to the Pete. But they’re no  stranger to the pressure. This is the 5th time Olsh boys basketball has made an appearance at the WPIAL championship in the last five years.

But regardless of Saturday’s results, the boys are not done yet.  “We’re both confident in returning to the PIAA state finals this year.”says senior Dawson Summers and junior Rocco Coladonato. But can you blame them for being so confident? The boys have managed to put almost every game into a running clock.

Could the Chargers earn their 4th straight title and win a back to back state championship? Tune in this Saturday at 1 pm on TribLive or make sure to buy your tickets on the OLSH website.
